Up On The Downs “Copy of the painting by Christopher Baker”:  This representation is of an English sky in early summer.  The ploughed field suggests a recent harvest of perhaps winter wheat.  The deep blue sky together with rather low altitude cirrus clouds contrasting with the earth tones of the field separated by lush deep greens offers a painting with rich color.
