This was the road to the main entrance to the manufacturing section of the Powder Plant. Imagine standing close to the where Old Hickory Veterans Memorial Park is today looking toward Berry (former DuPont). This is what you would see. Some of the Powder Plants located in this vicinity included one of the commissaries, the colored YMCA, bunk housing, the main gate, and portions of the Powder Plant human resource-related offices.
